AMIS-ROSA Runway condition monitoring

Surface condition control system based on the ROSA stations (AMIS-ROSA)

Flight strip or road surface condition control system based on the ROSA stations manufactured by Finnish company Vaisala Oyj.

The AMIS-ROSA system receives information from the distributed sensor network controlling condition of flight strip surface and coverage and a set of meteorological sensors: temperature and humidity sensors, atmospheric pressure sensors, PWD current weather registrar. Data received from the sensors is provided to the customer and also used for short-term forecast of changes in surface condition and making recommendations for runway surface treatment by chemicals.

Basic configuration of the system server allows connecting up to 3 ROSA master stations for each runway with complete set of slave stations and sensors.

Flexibly customizable display devices based on standard AMIS-RF automatic workstations of remote display devices (ARM VIU) are used to monitor data received by the server.
